Brita is a well known water filtration system manufacturer, which is part of the Clorox groups of companies.

Aquest Design worked with Brita Canada to design, renovate and furnish multiple areas of their their factory in Brampton, ON.

The Challenge:

Brita had an itemized list of things they wanted to change in their factory cafeteria. They had a budget in mind. Aquest Design was able to provide a visioning strategy so that we could take their budget and work towards a design that would fulfil the underlying desire of management to create a space for employees that communicated care and appreciation.

The Design Concept:

The thought behind the space was to give them employees a space with different options so they could comfortably spend their lunch time, with a variety of seating – this was achieved by providing standard chairs, high chairs, banquettes, private spaces and comfortable spaces to relax. The environment needed to be fresh and clean to reflect Brita’s brand. Aquest analyzed the use of the space to ensure the end result would be attractive and durable for many years to come. When selecting furniture, care was taken to ensure it would be durable to accommodate the staffs’ protective gear and equipment. A beautiful mural keeps the brand front and center, a backdrop for the clean, calming space Brita management had set out to create for their staff.

Services Provided:

Aquest began with an initial design strategy and budget. Then, after working closely with the client, Aquest provided final designs and progressive budgeting, and then helped provide presentations to be shared with the the clients’ internal team. Aquest then carried out the construction (walls, floor and ceiling), millwork and furniture according to the design.

The Results:

Both management and staff alike were thrilled with the new space, as well as the experience of working with Aquest’s proven process to create a space that was delivered on time, on budget, and accomplished the design intent that was initially desired.
